Once you register, you'll have the opportunity to purchase the CEU, take a test, and then print out your CEU certificate in just minutes. Right now, only California Continuing Education Units are available, but it won't be long before the necessary hoops have been jumped through to make them available nationwide. Stay tuned.
While you've probably read some of the CEU material already, when taking the test in practice mode, you'll be directed to specific pages where the answer is found via the "hints" found associated with each question on the test. This will allow the testing process to double as the educational process as well. Once you enter the Live Testing Mode, you'll be taking a real test with the potential for really failing it, even though you've paid for the test. So be sure to take the test first in practice mode, get the answers, write them down, and then take the test in
The tests are available in two modes:
- Practice Test: in this mode, you can take the test and use the "hints" to read the pages where the answer is found. The order of the questions will shuffle, so pay attention to the question and its answer, not the order of the questions so when you take the test for real, you'll remember all the answers.
- Live Testing Mode: in this mode, you take the test and the score is recorded. If you don't answer 80% of the questions correctly, you will fail and be unable to earn your CEU certificate unless you re-register with a different name and pay the fee again. Obviously you don't want to do that, so take the test in practice mode first, once you have all the answers, having followed the hints, come back and take the test live. The "hints" are available in Live Testing Mode as well as in Practice Mode.
