Western Diagnosis: Diarrhea with unknown reason
Medical History: Diarrhea for 5 years. Has to go the rest room 6 to 7 times a day. Fatigue. Low back pain. He has consulted many different doctors and tried all kinds of alternative medicine but acupuncture before he finds me.
Questioning exam: He owns a small business. He fills stressful on managing the daily business. Business fluctuation, employee problem. Whenever he tries to take meal, he has to go to the restroom before he finishes it. He is tired all the time, because of lacking of nutrition. Food is going out before full digested.

Medical History: 38 year old male with psoriasis for 10 years. He believes it was caused by photo-processing chemicals. He has been treated with steroid-family injections but relief is temporary. He also uses creams, Ultravate and Duvanex to control itching. His pulse is slow and he exercises regularly.
Questioning exam: He states the psoriasis lesions worsen in winter, with stress, and possibly with spicy food.

Chief Complaint: Damp Heat invading Liver and Gall Bladder
Western Diagnosis: Herpes Zoster
Medical History: The patient was a 31 year old male, approximately 5ft 10″ tall and slightly overweight. He had a sallow complexion with swollen eyelids and a weak sounding voice.
His chief complaint was herpes zoster (shingles), the blisters had just started to appear 2 days ago. Plus he had been feeling very tired a lot of the time for the past few months.

The Acupuncture and Herbal Treatment of Vulvar Vestibulitis
Chief Complaint: acute vaginal pain
Western Diagnosis: vulvar vestibulitis
Medical History: My patient has had the condition for 7 years. It first started as pain only on intercourse, then 2 years ago it became pain on arousal, and when she first came to see me there was constant pain. She is 28 years old, married, and a final year law student. The pain is predominantly on the right side of the vulva, it is a sharp pain that occurs with skin redness and inflammation, after the menses the pain will occur with itching. She is unable to have intercourse but the pain that is experienced constantly is a 6/10. The vaginismus only occurs on intercourse, but because the pain is so intense on arousal, it is not the immediate concern.

Medical History: The eight years French girl Leila C. came to see me on 07-10-99 along with her parents. She use to follow to the lower board of the normal height track since her was born. Between 1996-1998,her height did not be measured. June 1998, after her parents notice she was no more growing, She been sent to several specialist. She was been diagnosis with Turner’s Syndrome, but her reproductive system is well developed. Because Her Parents insisted to avoid the hormone replacement therapy. One of her doctor advised to try acupuncture.

The Chinese Medicine Treatment of Headaches
Chief Complaint: headaches
Medical History: female patient in her mid-thirties came to me five weeks ago. she had a whiplash in 98. Got rear endend by a car on the freeway with 80 km/h . Unfortunately she had her head turned and the SCM (Sternocleidomastoideus group) left went out and ruptured. Since then patient complains about headaches that are not specific at all. Can be occipital, temporal, not depending on weather . I could not find a pattern whatsoever…
CT was ok, Vertebrae did not show any damages whatsoever. No neurological absences or problems. No nausea. Patient works in computer company and sits in front of the screen frequently.

Medical History: Patient has pelvic pain for the past 10 yeas. She typically reports pain in the lower abdomen, vagina and back. This pain usually begins from 2 to 3 days before menses and lasts for 4 to 5 days. She has been diagnosed endometriosis and was received laparoscopy followed with hormonal therapy. She is 39 years old, has a 6 years old daughter and had one miss carriage last year. She states that she has PMS a week before menstrual cycle. She thinks that her diet is healthy, exercise is regular.
